saw the post about the woman who got funds to have weight reduction surgery and now hates that her disability has been reduced. wtf? you would think that she would love to be able to do things that she couldn’t before. but i guess not. i’m lazy, and a little on the heavy side (have thyroid disease), but i would give anything in the world to feel ‘normal’ again and be thinner. i would not be complaining about losing money one bit.

Laoch, you’re right. It’s unlikely to be in this sort of format though if I do.

Junq, people seem to trip up here for all sorts of reasons. I currently get about 300 hits a day, most popularly for banned Danish cartoons, IT or photo editing tutorials, a post about the curvature of women’s breasts. Therein perhaps lies the problem.

Thanks all for looking in. When I started this I was fairly green about PCs and the web and blogs were thin on the ground. I wrote about nothing in particular and I kept blogging for reasons other than what I was writing about. I know that doesn’t make sense but I don’t want to elaborate here. Blogging was a by-product not an end in itself.
I don’t even feel passionate enough about anything to focus on a theme or subject, here or elsewhere. Blogging had an element of anonymous social networking back then which I don’t think it does now that proper social networking has come about.

In time I’ll decide to kill or selectively cull. Not feeling like there’s any reason to keep it here. Future study time will probably wipe me out for a few months anyway.

Just let it sit for a bit…there is something comforting about having it be here. Even if it’s just to look back on.

If I’d known that I’d have turned down my new job that means I have to get up before 6am and travel for three hours each way – what a stupid, stupid fool I am!

Indigo, poor Farrah. I can’t believe all the talking heads they’ve found, none of whom seem to be able to find within themselves the courage to confront the reason why he’d been an outcast in the minds of most.
A singing, dancing paedophile must be all right then.
